St.Johns Village Post Office under new ownership
St.Johns Village Pot Office now has a new proprieter, Sean. He was previously a Manager with the COOP, so he knows his trade. He will continue to sell daily and Sunday newspapers and plans to broaden his range of stationary, situated at the back of the shop. The nice lady (no not that one) will continue behind the Post Office proper. He has installed an ice cream cone machine and due to the great weather recently, that has been a great success. The greeting card section will soon be replenished with a new range, so check it out for that next special card you need.
It was a close call whether the Post Office would actually remain open, so please give Sean your support. I mean, why queue up next door when all you want is a newspaper, and you get stuck behind some pleb who wants to use their credit/debit card for £4.99, the mind boggles at these people.

The new owner has certainly improved the shop, now we know where the queue is for the P.O as has moved the shop counter to the front. Great St.Georges stuff too, right price.
Update on post office. Passed by today and Sean was pulling out and taking all his stock. Seems there was a discrepancy between what he was told the shop made and what it actually made. Figures with Ned Kelly running the show.
